Samsung vows to organically integrate AI into all its
devices in 2026
Samsung was the world’s first brand to introduce a
comprehensive suite of AI-powered features across smartphones, tablets, home
appliances, and TVs. However, the company has acknowledged that AI features can
sometimes feel forced, prompting a renewed focus on more organic integration.
Samsung believes AI is not merely a tool but a transformative process that
reshapes how people think and work. TM Roh urged employees in the Device
experience (DX) division to use AI to evolve their mindsets and workflows, boosting
productivity and speed. The company is also encouraging faster recognition of
market changes, greater flexibility in responding to challenges, stronger
crisis management, and sustained market leadership.

Meanwhile, Samsung continues to strengthen its position in
semiconductors, where it claims a unique advantage as the world’s only
“one-stop solution” provider for advanced chip packaging, foundry services,
logic chips, and memory chips. Young Hyun Jun, head of the Device Solutions
(DS) division, said Samsung will leverage this strength to meet unprecedented
AI-driven demand for semiconductors. Employees in the DS division have been
encouraged to use AI and high-quality data to develop advanced solutions for
clients, with the company pledging to apply AI across research and development,
design, manufacturing, and quality assessment.
