Samsung releases stable One UI 9.0 update for Galaxy A27
In an unexpected move, Samsung has released the stable version of One UI 9.0 (Android 17) for the Galaxy A27. The update is currently available in the company’s home country, South Korea, where the smartphone is sold as the Galaxy Jump 5. According to Tarun Vats, it carries firmware version A276KKSU3BZIF, though details such as its download size are not yet available. With the stable version now out, the beta program for the new software has come to an end.
Samsung is expected to roll out the stable One UI 9.0 update for the Galaxy A27 in other countries over the next few days. Users can check for it and install it by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. A video at the end of the original post shows the changes the update brings.
The release is surprising because Samsung usually delivers a new One UI build to its latest and high-end devices first, then gradually brings it to older and more affordable models. With One UI 9.0, the company initially released the stable update for a handful of newer, high-end devices, including models in the Galaxy Z and Galaxy S series. However, some Galaxy Z and Galaxy S devices, along with newer and higher-end Galaxy A series phones, are still waiting for the update, which makes the Galaxy A27’s early access all the more unexpected.
