Samsung’s Galaxy Event in August 2026 is set to introduce the new Galaxy S26 FE, with the phone expected to bring the Exynos 2500 chipset. Unlike the S24 FE and S25 FE, Samsung appears to be keeping the memory options at 8GB RAM with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage. Early performance results suggest the Exynos 2500 could deliver a noticeable performance boost, while Samsung is also expected to focus on software improvements.

The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to retain much of the previous model’s design, featuring a 6.7-inch OLED display with 1080p+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will reportedly have an aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection and an IP68 rating, while maintaining the 7.4mm thickness. The phone is expected to arrive in Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio color options.

Battery capacity will reportedly remain at 4,900mAh, with 45W wired charging and possibly 15W wireless charging. Despite using a similarly sized battery, the S26 FE could offer up to 50 hours of endurance, compared with around 42 hours on previous FE models, potentially thanks to the more efficient Exynos 2500. Camera hardware is also expected to remain largely unchanged, with a 50MP main camera, 8MP telephoto, 12MP ultrawide and 12MP selfie camera, but Samsung may introduce features such as Horizon Lock, My FanCam and Audio Eraser.

One of the biggest changes could be the price. Leaked European pricing suggests the Galaxy S26 FE may start at around €800 for 8GB/128GB, compared with €750 for the S25 FE, while the 256GB model could rise to €900 and the 512GB version to €1,100. If these leaks prove accurate, Samsung is positioning the S26 FE as a more expensive option, but buyers can still expect long-term software support with seven OS updates and seven years of security updates.
