Samsung could have two more foldable surprises in 2027, for a total of six new foldables
Samsung had only just revealed the Galaxy Z Fold 8 lineup and the Z Flip 8 when rumors began circulating that its 2027 flagship range might swell to eight phones, four of them foldables. That was bold enough, but a new leak adds two more names to the list, and one hints that Samsung’s next big move could involve stretching rather than folding.
Tipster TheGalox, posting on X, says the 2027 lineup will feature the Galaxy Z Flip 9, Z Fold 9, Z Fold 9 Ultra, and Z TriFold 2, the same four devices named in the earlier report. The two newcomers are the Galaxy Z Fold 9 Pro and the Galaxy Z Slide. The tipster also says the whole range will see gains in battery life, thickness, and weight, with the TriFold 2 landing first.

The overlap with earlier reports is notable, but it doesn’t confirm the two new additions. The familiar names point to direct successors of Samsung’s current foldables, while the Pro suggests a new tier. It could slot between the Z Fold 9 and Z Fold 9 Ultra, sharing the design of either while adding or dropping certain premium features. That is guesswork based on the name alone, though, as the leak offers no specs or design details.
