Samsung confirms the existence of the Galaxy S27 Pro
Samsung appears to be preparing a significant shake-up for its flagship smartphone lineup, with recent GSMA database listings indicating that the Galaxy S27 series could include four models instead of the usual three. Alongside the standard Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, and Galaxy S27 Ultra, the listings reveal a brand-new Galaxy S27 Pro, suggesting Samsung is introducing a fresh premium option to bridge the gap between the Plus and Ultra variants.
The GSMA database identifies the Galaxy S27+ with model number SM-S956U, the Galaxy S27 Pro as SM-S957B/DS, and the Galaxy S27 Ultra as SM-S958U. An earlier listing also confirmed the existence of the standard Galaxy S27 under model number SM-S952U, further strengthening expectations that the upcoming flagship series will feature four distinct devices.

The addition of the Galaxy S27 Pro could mark a new strategy for Samsung, offering users a more feature-rich alternative without stepping up to the Ultra model. While the company has yet to officially announce specifications or pricing, the appearance of these devices in the GSMA database strongly suggests that development is well underway ahead of an expected launch in early 2027.
Industry watchers believe Samsung could differentiate the Pro model with upgraded cameras, improved display technology, or enhanced performance compared to the Galaxy S27+, while keeping the Ultra as the ultimate flagship.
Following the launch of the main lineup, Samsung is also expected to expand the series later in the year with the arrival of the Galaxy S27 FE, giving consumers even more options across different price segments.
