Samsung finally makes Galaxy A17 4G launch official
Last month, Samsung introduced the Galaxy A17 5G, and now the company has followed up with its 4G variant. The Galaxy A17 4G has officially launched in Germany at a price of €199 and is expected to roll out across more European countries soon. While it shares almost all its features with the 5G version, the main difference lies in the processor. Instead of the Exynos 1330 found in the 5G model, the Galaxy A17 4G runs on the MediaTek Helio G99 chip, making it an affordable alternative for users who don’t need 5G connectivity.

In terms of features, the Galaxy A17 4G comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display offering Full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It also carries an IP54 rating, providing resistance against dust and water splashes. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Out of the box, the phone runs on Android 15 with One UI 7.0 and includes Gemini as the default AI assistant. Samsung has committed to six major Android and One UI updates for the device, and users can also take advantage of features like Circle to Search for quick information access.
