Apple’s Foldable iPhone to Feature iPad-Like Interface When Opened
Apple is preparing to launch its long-anticipated foldable iPhone, which will introduce new iOS features designed to support larger screens and improved multitasking. The device is expected to include an internal foldable display roughly the size of an iPad mini, along with an external screen similar to that of a smaller iPhone. The internal display will feature a wider aspect ratio compared to existing foldable phones, allowing users to run two apps side by side and enjoy a more spacious layout similar to an iPad experience. These enhancements aim to make the device more appealing for activities like watching videos, browsing, and multitasking.

Although the foldable iPhone will offer an iPad-like interface, it will still run the standard iOS instead of iPadOS. Apple is also working on redesigned app layouts with sidebars and updated developer tools so apps can better adapt to the larger screen. The company has focused heavily on addressing common issues with foldable devices, such as visible screen creases and durability concerns. By introducing improved display technology and strengthening the device’s hinge and screen longevity, Apple hopes to deliver a more refined foldable smartphone that can compete with models already introduced by companies like Samsung and Google.
